Purpose:

  • Observe live performance demonstrations.

  • A practical practice session before your actual AMEB examination.

  • Practice performance with a piano accompanist.

  • Suitable for students preparing for AMEB Preliminary to Grade 2 examinations.

Things to prepare:

  • Choose one piece from your exam which requires piano accompaniment, prepare to play it from start to finish with piano accompanist. 

  • Take photos/scan and upload the piano accompaniment part music score upon registration.

  • Your AMEB Repertoire Book

  • Pencil and eraser

  • Water bottle

Enjoy piano performances and gain valuable insight into AMEB Piano Exams

Considered one of the most effective means of musical development, Piano Performance Interpretations for AMEB Exams sessions are generally catered to groups of students preparing for their AMEB examinations, this session focuses on AMEB Preliminary Grade to Grade 2 examinations.

Selections of pieces from AMEB exams will be performed students with piano accompanist Ms Cindra. Ms Cindra will then provide constructive comments on the performers' interpretations, thereby creating priceless learning opportunities for both performer and observer. Students will receive individualised and pertinent advice towards refining their artistry, while the audience is able to learn vicariously and experience how a master’s guidance improves their performance.

Cindra Fang

Cindra Fang completed her Master of Music at the National Taipei University of Education in 2014. During her studies at the NTUE, Cindra studies in instrumental performances, music appreciations, piano literature, jazz and improvisation, choral conducting, music arrangement and composition, coaching and management of ensemble and orchestra.
